The West Yell coast in the Shetland Islands UK is a length of pretty rugged North Sea coastline. Three marks have been created, which cater for different forms of sea fishing. All are pretty deep water marks and a variety of species can be caught, including, cod, dogfish, mackerel, plaice, pollack, thornbacks, tope, congers, sea trout and whiting.

The fishing is pretty tough going though, especially at whalefirth, but can be very rewarding.

This venue is part of the default installation of fishing simulator 2 and can be used wih any version of Fishing Simulator but the latest update is recommended. The latest update version of Fishing Simulator 2 can be downloaded on here. In all cases, the latest version of Fishing Simulator 2 should be used for match fishing and record catch submissions.
