The Noir Lac venue is experimental and consists of just two specimen pegs at the moment.There are only named fish in this venue, with very little under 20 lb's. Don't expect to catch more than a handful of fish a day, it's not easy. Night fishing is the best tactic, fishing close up to the island.

The venue contains all named fish, 352 in total, all with different names and behaviour. Also, you may expect to catch the odd small bream, roach and gudgeon, these are fed in to the lake daily to feed the catfish !

This venue is not recommended for matches or pleasure angling, only specimen hunters will find this venue attractive.

Le Noir Lac uses fish behaviour features introduced into FS2 in versions after 2.08, if earlier versions are used, the fish will not behave correctly. The latest update version of Fishing Simulator 2 can be downloaded on here. In all cases, the latest version of Fishing Simulator 2 should be used for match fishing and record catch submissions.
