The Mayenne venue consists of four very equal pegs, suited for all styles of fishing. Each peg contains over 20 different species of fish to catch, all with different unique behaviour patterns defined for each shoal.

The venue is made to pro mode standard specifications, so is quite challenging, although in early sessions here, small fish have been reasonably easy to catch ( gudgeon, orfe, and ruffe ). Specimen anglers should be able to target a few double figure catfish, carp and sturgeon, with relative ease.

The design of this venue is intended to provide a single venue that will accomodate all angling styles ( float, ledger, fly and lure ), plus provide a wide variety of species as well as some harder to come by worthy specimens.

Mayenne uses fish behaviour features introduced into FS2 in versions after 2.08, if earlier versions are used, the fish will not behave correctly. The latest update version of Fishing Simulator 2 can be downloaded on here. In all cases, the latest version of Fishing Simulator 2 should be used for match fishing and record catch submissions.
