The River Dove is one of the original Fishing Simulator 2 venues installed with the game. It consists of four pegs on the river, around the Ashbourne area in Derbyshire..

The fishing here most of the time is not too difficult, but at other times it can be a struggle. A lot of anglers fish here for the chub and barbel, as the other species tend to be mainly small stuff.

All four pegs contain, barbel, trout, chub, bullheads, minnows, dace, eels and grayling.

The River Dove is part of the default Fishing Simulator 2 installaion and was one of the original venues, so any version of Fishsim 2 can be used. The latest update version of Fishing Simulator 2 can be downloaded on here. In all cases, the latest version of Fishing Simulator 2 should be used for match fishing and record catch submissions.
