Border fisheries is one of the original Fihsing Simulator venues and in installed automatically with the CD ROM from the CD ROM. It is a day ticket fisherie near Crewe in Cheshire and four pegs have been re-created. Two on Gibbo's pool and the other two on the specimen lake.

The fishing is pretty easy going, and in the summer months expect plenty of double figure carp. The Gibbo's pegs are better suited for general and match fishing, but the specimen ones produce generally larger fish.

All four pegs contain, barbel, carp, bream, tench, golden tench, perch, roach and rudd.

Border fisheries is part of the default Fishing Simulator 2 installaion and was one of the original venues, so any version of Fishsim 2 can be used. The latest update version of Fishing Simulator 2 can be downloaded on here. In all cases, the latest version of Fishing Simulator 2 should be used for match fishing and record catch submissions.
