This download should only be imported if you are a member of the pro fishing club on the Internet, for more information on the pro fishing club see the text below. Important, you must have imported the default version of Mayenne before you import this addon, otherwise the venue will not work.

Pro version venues also do not store record catches, until they have been "passed" off as valid by the comittee on the pro fishing site. You can download a file from the pro fishing site which will enable the passed venues. This file is available from the pro fishing web site.

Peg three 956590
Peg four 960035

Checksums - what are they ?

A checksum in Fishing Simulator 2 is a way to ensure that a venue or peg is correct and the same as everyone else who uses FS2. This is only useful for record submission and matches to ensure that everyone is fishing on the same versions and with the same fish levels. If you just fish by yourself at home, then you do not need to worry about these, but if participating in a match on the Internet or submitting your record catches to the global records pages, you will need to ensure you have the correct checksum before you catch any fish.

To check to see what checksum you have on a peg, you will need to start fishing simulator 2 and go fishing on that peg, then press the F9 key, in the top left hand corner shown in light blue, that will be your checksum and it should match the table above, if not and participating in any interactive parts of FS2, you may get disqualified or catches refused.

Also with record catches, the checksum at the time the record is caught is stored, which is not necessarily the same as it is when checked.

Pro fishing - what is it ?

Pro fishing within fishing simulator 2 was introduced to cater for two distinct different types of anglers who use FS2. There are some people who like to have fun and catch lots of fish with FS2, and others who prefer a more realistic fishing experience. Pro fishing caters for the latter, while the standard default version caters for the former. You can still use both though if you please.

When pro fishing is activated, you will be given two choices when you start FS2, Pro mode or Default mode, this is where you select which to fish each time.
